Mr. Augustus Lee gave us the GREAT COMPUTER FILES: Group files called "FamilySearch" on the site http://www.familysearch.org/
This site provides access to databases that contain 900 million names from around the world (110 countries) This service is free and can also visit the Family History Library Catalog, download free genealogical software and online ordering of documents.
three files:
1 - Ancestral File: Body of compiled genealogies - Files names grouped by family trees.
2 - International Genealogical Index : File genealogical research (original records), contains information on millions of dead people who lived between 1500 and early 1900.
3 - Family History Library Catalog : Information from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
